RAK Village Hike

Are you looking to get out on the weekend? Want to discover old settlements which used to be along the routes of UAE tribes? The Nabateans are the origin of the population of the UAE, which has originated in Al-Shuhuh, Al-Habous or Al-Dhahoorin tribes who came to this area 4000 years ago. Theme: Mountain hike (medium difficulty), incl. sunset/night hike Fee: 155aed Vehicle: 4x4/ SUV ***Note: Please update your RSVP, should you no longer be able to join. So that other adventurers get a chance. ***Make sure to provide your contact details. We will require a copy of your ID for this trip. If we cannot contact you, you will not be confirmed on this trip. Details: Hike will start at 2pm for about 5-6 hours for round trip ( its 4-6km) in the mountains going through abounded settlements. What to get: - Hiking shoes / Sport shoes - Head Torch or regular Torch (mandatory) - water (take at least 4L for the hike, and keep extra water in the car for your return) - small snack like muesli bar, nuts - wear light clothes: T- shirts, shorts ( and have a spare T-shirt to change into upon your return. ) - Small Backpack to carry your stuff - Light jacket as it might be cold on top of mountain - Chair or mat to sit down when we are back @ meeting point / further details: all to be shared with confirmed participants in a WhatsApp Group ***NOTE: MAG does not accept littering, therefore: Everyone is responsible to collect their own garbage and Smokers are responsible to collect their cigarette butts. It's everybody's responsibility to inform your fellow adventurer or organizer should you observe this behavior by others. We also do not accept any disrespectful behavior versus fellow adventurers and ask you to inform us asap.
